Responsibilities

The Frac Flowback Operator II will work at well site locations assisting with the rigging in and out of frac flowback equipment. Additionally, the Frac Flowback Operator will be required to test and monitor flowing wells, record data accurately and maintain a safe working environment at all times. The Frac Flowback Operator will report to the Frac Flowback Supervisor.

Main Tasks

• Support supervisor / cross shift
• Train to lead shift without supervision
• Train to supervise 1 crew member
• Responsible for Incident Management
• Contribute to the evaluation of project with supervisor
• Working knowledge of FIRE Software
• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs
• Follow company policies and procedures
• Consistently demonstrate knowledge of all local and federal laws
• Demonstrate knowledge of testing principles
• Demonstrate knowledge of separation process
• Demonstrate knowledge of proper equipment use and maintenance
• Demonstrate proper use of hand tools
• Demonstrate the proper operation of Frac Flowback equipment including high pressure test equipment up to 2000psi and sour well testing
• Identify and report defective equipment
• Demonstrate knowledge of onsite fluids
• Learn proper operation of multi services jobs
• Strong technical and mechanical abilities
• Demonstrate high work quality and commitment to Health, Safety, and Environment
• Responsible for personal safety
• Identify and report safety issues
• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum one to two years demonstrated knowledge in frac flowback operations
• Valid and current driver license with acceptable motor vehicle record
• Ability to follow directions and routines
• Manage multiple tasks and set priorities to meet project deadlines
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Computer skills with the flexibility to quickly learn new software
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Organized and detail oriented
• Self Starter
• Ability to work 12 hours shifts (day and night) typically a 21 day on and 7 day off schedule
• Adapt well to ever changing climate and operational conditions
Work Environment:
• Fast paced atmosphere with multiple priorities and constant change
• Exposure to noise, dirt, dust, variable temperatures and inclement weather up to 12 hours a day or night
Physical Demands:
• Lift, lower, push, pull, leverage and manipulate Frac Flowback tools and equipment
• Bend, stoop, crouch, squat, climb, stand, walk and turn/pivot up to 12 hours per day
