6th Annual BLOCKCHAIN IN OIL & GAS CONFERENCE
Houston, TX, US

The Only Blockchain-focused event for the oil & gas industry Join the oil and gas blockchain ecosystem to learn, network, innovate, and strategize to maximize your technology investments. Operators, service companies, EPCs, and industry stakeholders need to increase their level of awareness and understanding of blockchain. As shown in ongoing pilots, blockchain is being applied to commodity transport, JV Management and Seismic Data Management, with many more applications being investigated. The conference will highlight opportunities to create industry solution frameworks and guidelines, leveraging blockchain technology to reduce costs, improve timelines and eliminate disputes in any given process. A key focus of the 2022 conference will be blockchain as an enabler for carbon tracking and mitigation - the generational driver for oil and gas companies today.  The Oil & Gas industry continues to operate in challenging times with compressed margins, reduced resources, and funding and an ever pressing need to find, extract, produce, and refine hydrocarbons more cost effectively.  Blockchain is part of the solution.

CARBON TRACKING AND REPORTING CANADA
Calgary, AB, CA

Following the success of our inaugural Carbon Tracking and Reporting Conference in March in Houston, TX, we are excited to announce our inaugural Carbon Tracking and Reporting Canada Conference, aligned with Canada's 2030 emissions targets, to take place this November 2022 in Calgary - Alberta, Canada. ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) quickly became the focus of many investors in the Oil and Gas industry, making ESG metrics a mandatory demand before any investment.    While responsible for about 30 percent of the rising global temperatures, methane emissions in Canada are between 50 percent and 100 percent higher than what is reported. Canada has recently signed a Global Methane Pledge to reduce overall methane emissions by 30 percent from 2020 levels by 2030. It has set a national target of a 75 percent reduction in methane emissions from oil and gas by 2030 relative to 2012 levels. At our inaugural Carbon Tracking and Reporting conference, we will share the most recent laws, regulations, and frameworks that have been put in place for better tracking of emissions in the oil and gas industry, highlight what some of the largest oil companies are doing implementing ESG, discuss key solutions for major existing challenges such as tracking and reporting processes to measure the progress in meeting climate metrics, accurately tracking scope 3 emissions and a better understanding of Carbon accounting and showcase the most recent tracking, monitoring & reporting technologies, AI and software in the market.  The Carbon Tracking and Reporting Canada Conference agenda is under production; if you wish to participate, please email karl.klimos@energyconferencenetwork.com. Top Reasons to attend: •    Proven case studies from your oil and gas peers faced with – and overcoming – the same challenges as you •    Advice from carbon tracking, measuring, and reporting solution providers  •    First-hand insight into the emerging technologies that will shape the future of carbon and methane emissions •    Networking opportunities with the industry movers and shakers •    Interactive discussions so you can have your key scope 3 tracking challenges addressed

CARBON TRACKING AND REPORTING EUROPE
London, UK, GB

Following the great success of our inaugural Carbon Tracking and Reporting US conference in Houston, TX, last March, we are pleased to announce that this event is coming to Europe. The Carbon Tracking and Reporting Europe Conference, running as part of the Carbon Tracking and Reporting events series, will take place on 29 - 30 November 2022 in London, UK.  The Conference will be aligned with the Paris Agreement and European Union's target to reduce emissions by 55% by 2030 as the oil and gas industry in Europe commits to a new framework to monitor, report, and reduce methane emissions. European integrated oil majors have led the charge, acknowledging the inevitability of the transition and the scale of the challenge as they face the possibility that petroleum demand could peak in the next decade. However, the majors move at different paces to reduce their carbon footprints; Royal Dutch Shell PLC, BP PLC, Eni SpA, Repsol SA, Equinor ASA, and TOTAL Energies are working to diversify and decarbonize their portfolios by turning to natural gas, electricity, and renewables to meet self-imposed emissions reduction goals. Explore strategies on how to navigate to a low-carbon future Understand laws, regulations, and standards to improve emissions tracking and reporting Explore challenges linked to tracking and including scope 3 emissions in the oil and gas industry Redefine ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) best practices Take a deep look into data standardization and metrics used in carbon reporting Showcase the most recent tracking, monitoring, and reporting technologies, AI, and software in the market

The target is to retrofit around 4.5 million homes by 2030, a third of buildings built before 2010. The focus during our 2nd annual Retrofit Canada Conference in 2022 included: An update on recent laws and regulations  Multi-million Dollars projects Announcements from NRCan and the City of Toronto Financing mechanisms for deep retrofit projects Market trends and new technologies Project updates and investment opportunities If you wish to partner, speak or sponsor the 3rd Annual Retrofit Canada Conference in June 2023, please e-mail on karl.klimos@energyconferencenetwork.com
