Roska DBO Inc.  Provides operations and people solutions for major oil and gas producers in Western Canada.  We are currently looking for two hardworking, self-motivated Camp Cooks/Attendants for a camp in the Fort Nelson, BC area. 

Requirements include:

  • Relevant experience – 2-5 years
  • Food Safe Certificate
  • First Aid, H2S, WHMIS
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Must be capable of heavy lifting and moving stock (up to 30 lbs)
  • Must pass pre-hire drug and alcohol testing

General Scope of Work:

  • 12 hour day (10.5 reg, 1.5 OT).  Locals to Fort Nelson, BC preferred.
  • Shift schedule 15 days on/13 off – Wednesday is Operator crew change day.
  • Camp setting consists of 4 operators
  • Daily provision of 3 hot meals based on approved menu selections by the Lead Operator.
  • Lunch will be soup/salad/sandwiches inc. grilled cheese, hot dogs, mac& cheese, casseroles etc. throughout the week.
  • Dinner will include 1-2 main course items, 1 starch, 1 vegetable, salads and desserts.
  • Sandwiches and cooler snack type items available daily.
  • Baking will be made fresh daily.
  • As needed and/or daily housekeeping and janitorial services for the kitchen and common areas of the camp.
  • Client bedding changed and rooms cleaned weekly. All guest rooms can also be cleaned as needed and will be cleaned upon checkout.
  • Laundry service for camp linens – onsite machines can be used.
  • Weekly menu planning including variety and all food groups to be reviewed and approved by Operators on a mutually agreed to schedule.
  • Weekly Grocery list preparation.
  • Supply laptop and communication devices.
  • Assist in Food Permit application process.
  • Get weekly timesheets signed off by Lead Operator.
