Teine Energy is seeking a dedicated Field Safety Advisor to join our team in the Drayton Valley/Edson area. This is a full-time position reporting directly to the Safety Manager. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring safe and compliant operations across our field sites.

Responsibilities:

Actively engage with Drilling and Completions teams at high-activity sites to address safety concerns in real time, fostering open communication and collaboration to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors by attending regular meetings, conducting audits, and participating in on-site inspections.
Ensure all work adheres to internal policies, procedures, and recognized engineering best practices.
Provide expert guidance on health and safety regulations to Drilling, Completion, Construction, and Operations teams.
Lead safety meetings and on-site inspections, ensuring compliance, evaluating performance, implementing corrective actions, and conducting follow-up assessments.
Assess current safety and compliance practices, identify areas for improvement, and assist in developing and implementing targeted training programs to enhance team knowledge and skills.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

10+ years of experience in Drilling and Completions, with extensive involvement in large-scale hydraulic fracturing operations and managing multiple concurrent activities.
Proven ability to exemplify Teine Energy’s core competencies: Awareness & Accountability, Resilience, Innovative Thinking, Results-focus, and Technical Excellence.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster collaboration across teams.
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and capable of working independently in a dynamic environment.
Highly organized with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively.
A valid driver’s license and a clean driver abstract, with the role requiring extensive travel in the Edson/Drayton Valley region.
Availability to work a schedule of 5 days on, 2 days off, with on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis.
Flexibility to work overtime is needed to support high-activity operations.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
The candidate must be familiar with and reside in the Drayton Valley / Edson area.
