The department

As HR Business Partner, you will be a trusted advisor to our management teams in NAM & Caribbean in ensuring efficiency in organizational development and adjustments.



The position

As a HR Partner at Welltec your tasks will include:

  • Being a trusted coach and sparring partner on talent management, performance, collaboration, organizational design, and team dynamics. As an active member of the leadership teams, you will take a leading role in improving team performance and help leaders identify and develop the best people into the most critical positions.
  • You will be responsible for creating a good collaboration internally across HR, orchestrate the delivery of solutions and create an experience with the business leaders of one well-functioning HR machine.
  • Assist in developing the leadership skills of our managers and advise them on HR matters.
  • Providing full range of strategic HR services for the organization, with overall responsibility for directing and coordinating HR strategies, policies, and procedures for the functions.
  • Providing and handling of HR administration support including contract management, HR admin, compliance, I-9 verification, and audits, handling legal matters relating to local employment law, local salary reviews, market analysis and oversee benefit audits.
  • Setting the best team and ensure that the North America Team is staffed according to the operation’s needs. Here including recruitment, onboarding and offboarding of employees.
  • Strongly advocate the development and deployment of top talent into critical position.
  • Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job
  • Oversee update of Asset Management when equipment is shipped or received and when components are changed between assets
  • Responsible for correct use of Welltec maintenance systems and documentation of redress center work
  • Ensure traceability of equipment on site at all times, from receipt to shipment back to originating location
  • Coordinates activities of personnel involved in redress, repair and maintenance of equipment, to minimize interruption and improve efficiency.

The candidate

We are looking for a HR Business Partner with the following characteristics:

  • A seasoned HR professional with minimum of 5 years of relevant experience within HR.
  • The ideal candidate has a broad knowledge of most HR disciplines and is able to translate HR needs, business strategy into leadership initiatives and opportunities into bottom-line performance for the organization.
  • You are a good communicator with great business acumen, and you are able to view and accept the world from angles other than your own. It is important that you are service-minded, but not afraid to enforce policies and challenge decisions if necessary.
  • You have a good insight and experience with North American employment law.
  • A true HR professional who is constantly developing their toolbox, learning, and sharing best practice.
  • You have a good knowledge of US Benefits and payroll experience utilizing third party vendors with have ADP experience is preferred.
  • Someone who has excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal) and has thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • You are self-driven and thrive in a fast-paced environment yet are organized and work in a structured manner.
  • Last but not least, you are a curious person who is passionate about learning the ins and outs of our industry.

As NAM’s HR Business Partner you will find yourself multitasking on simultaneous projects many of which will be confidential. The job will be based in Katy, Texas and the person will report to the Senior Area Vice President, who is also based in Katy. A competitive compensation package is available. Training programs will be available to assist with career development. Some travelling will be required.
