The position

Welltec is actively recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer for Brazil to be based in Rio de Janeiro, RJ. We are looking for a strong candidate with at least 5 years of relevant experience.

The candidate

The preferred candidate has the following profile:

Mechanical design;
Analytical studies;
FEA simulations;
Pressure vessel design would be relevant as well as hydraulic systems design and operation;
Problem solving and modelling of physical systems;
Experience in CAD software (CATIA is a plus) as well as simulation tools (ANSYS, COMSOL, ABAQUS, LS-DYNA);
Oilfield experience is beneficial but not necessary;
Master’s degrees would also be beneficial on relevant filed (mechanical engineer, simulation, etc);
Very good knowledge of English is required.
