Teine is currently seeking a Senior Exploitation Engineer to become a key part of our dynamic team. This role will focus on our Duvernay asset providing technical expertise to identify and develop exploitation opportunities, optimize reservoir performance, and drive innovative solutions for maximizing production and recovery. As a key contributor, you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement development strategies, evaluate economic opportunities, and support decision-making for future growth.

Responsibilities for Teine’s Duvernay Asset:

Identify and develop exploitation opportunities and reservoir depletion strategies.
Focus on increasing initial production rates (IP) and estimated ultimate recoveries (EUR) through effective reservoir management and advanced completion technologies.
Recommend and implement area development plans to guide appropriate capital spending.
Collaborate closely with Drilling, Completions, and Operations teams to optimize future results, maximize existing production, and coordinate operational activities.
Assist in reviewing technical and economic evaluations of existing and new development areas, and in identifying and implementing development strategies.
Recommend acquisition opportunities and evaluate land sale properties.
Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on topics related to development.
Provide engineering support to the area exploration team to exploit existing and future company assets.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited university; must hold APEGA P.Eng. designation.
10+ years of oil and gas engineering experience, with a preference for candidates experienced in North American shale resource plays.
Essential experience in reserves and resource evaluation.
Strong proficiency in Accumap/Geoscout, Microsoft Office, and economic evaluation software is required.
Knowledge of pressure transient analysis (PTA), rate transient analysis (RTA), and other analysis tools would be an asset.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Results-oriented, strategic, decisive, and self-motivated, with excellent attention to detail.
