The Opportunity

Our Grande Prairie, AB location is currently looking for Solids Control Technician to join the team. This position is responsible for rigging centrifuges and servicing other various pieces of solids control equipment at the branch and in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
Service, set up and rig solids control equipment on customer locations;
Repair, service and maintain surface rental equipment in the shop or field;
Optimize centrifuges, barite recovery, strip drilling mud;
Complete retorts and provide solutions for customers on site.

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

Minimum 2 years running centrifuges;
Previous experience dewatering drilling fluid and running barite recovery;
Candidate must be willing to cross train in well sites and waste water;
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills;
Valid Class 5 is required;
Oilfield safety tickets preferred;
