What We Offer

  • $22.00 to $26.00, based on skills and experience for this Temporary Full-Time position;
  • Work rotation is based on client and project requirements.

The Opportunity

Our Devon, AB location is currently looking for an experienced Tank Cleaning Technician to join the team. With a “safety first” approach, this position is responsible for the safe and effective product removal and cleaning of large scale petroleum storage tanks. Although this position is based in Devon, it will involve travelling throughout Western Canada. 


Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Work at heights to remove roof seals;
  • Work inside petroleum storage tanks to scrape and clean;
  • Install equipment on new tanks and tanks that are being refurbished;
  • Perform general duties required to complete work, such as debris removal, clean up, set up, etc;
  • Complete basic equipment and tool maintenance, including basic repairs;
  • Work in confined spaces and wear Supplied Breathing Air Apparatus.

Key qualifications:

  • Minimum valid Class 5 driver’s license required and a clean 5-year driver’s abstract;
  • Previous tank cleaning and/or confined space entry experience preferred;
  • Capable of physically demanding work in a confined space environment;
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment.
